Question: What kind of tax write offs can i do if i started a Home Based Business ?
Im looking to start a small Home Based Business. I am a single mother with two small girls. I lost my job as a semi truck driver in the oilfield in may, and would like to start something i can do at home, so i can stay with my children.
I've heard that you can claim a certain portion of your house, and are there other things you can claim on your taxes when having your own business ?? like advertising ?? or materials i need to buy to operate my business ??
Money is so tight, so any way that i can save a buck or two would really help ! ANY info is really appreciated !! Thank you !!

Question: Would you rather have a gift certificate?
I have a Home Based Business and I am going to a chinese gift auction, most of the women there purchase products from me regularly. There will be other women with Home Business there and they give product from their inventory for the gifts.
So my question is should I select a gift from my inventory or should I give a gift certificate in the specified amount that way who ever gets it can choose their products??
Answer: I always want a gift card so I could buy what I wanted instead of pretending to like what that person got for me.

Question: Why do people love facebook?
Ok I'm wondering this because I knew its a way to express your feelings but why do people feel so compelled to tell all of your daily business! Look I'm just asking and wondering so please save the smart a$$ answers, because I know there's some legitimate and good reasons to have a page, but I just I'm trying to comprehend why people feel the need to sometimes tell intimate, personal or even private thoughts and issues for the world to see? Now I do know there's people whom found lost relatives, old school buddys etc.. So I understand that part but not all the cheating and kids cussing parents that allow it! Like I said I just trying 2 see why people feel so compelled to open there private lives to the world! Please note I do have a facebook and I also had it way before probably half the world did lol, when most people was using myspace but its deactivated and I never use it, so give me your thoughts on it?
Answer: I personally dont have a FB account nor do I want one,but from listening to those I know who have accounts its seems to give them something to gossip about, like Sam ate a biscuit today, OMG did he really do that?
