Question: are there any Work at Home type things like avon?

that are lesser known? it seems like it wouldn't be lucrative to get into such a widely distributed (already) business like avon. i mean, everyone knows someone who sells it.... it doesn't seem they really need any more reps. but i would like to investigate this type of work. is there anything else that a lot of people haven't heard of, whose products aren't ridiculously expensive?
