Question: Has anyone has any luck running an ebay store and making a profit?
I've read thru several message boards for at home based businesses and have an idea for one. I've sold on Ebay before but not thru a store. The fees really add up to between the listing fees and any PayPal fees. I looked at a few similar Ebay stores to what I'm considering for my niche and it never looks like anyone is selling anything.
I'm almost thinking an Ebay store wouldn't really be worth it, but then if I did say a Yahoo website, small business there are fees for that too and again if I use paypal more fees.
Any suggestions
ps, do you need a business license to run an Ebay Store?
Answer: Running an eBay store is RIDDIUCULOUS.
Ebays done fantastically but people always come up with ''why dont you sell on ebay'' not realising that their rinsing outtheir money! Esp when paying those fees each time.
And worst still you still pay the fee before you have even sold an item esp. IF YOU DID NOT SELL ANYTHING!!!!!??????? That is dumb. Theyre making loads out of peoples naivity.
TIP:
Its best to set up your own store via awebsite or blog, advertise it , promote it and THEN get people to get you the customers you want! And thats called MLM is great and effective nowadays!
