Question: Breakfast Diner in Alberta Ave area, Edmonton?

I just moved into the community and have seen a new grass roots cafe open as well as new dinner restaurants.....but I don't know of any place to have a home-style breakfast. I know of Smitty's at Kingsway mall, and things like that, but I would much prefer to support local businesses. Does anyone have any suggestions??

Answer: How about "Maria's" on 84 street south of 118 ave?People from as far away as Millwoods dine their although it's a humble, simple place.

Question: Home-based business? how to screen the scams or 1/2 scams? which are realistic or not?

Internet is a great think as we all know, BUT with zillions of webpages it's hard to find what you're looking for.....wait, that's why they invented "Search engines" such as Yahoo...oh,ok.....wait ! what is this ? everytime I search in yahoo or google I get gazillion posible webpages matching my search criteria !! well, that's a problem by itself, but today I want to focus on "Home-based bussinessess", I can't use this info. because results are either scam or NOn-realistic get-rich-overnight-schemes (or scams?) that are a waste of time.......anybody has had a Real good experience which allows them to make money (modest, not overnight billionaires) ??? pls give me your must honest opinion......God bless you !

Answer: I defiantly feel you . . . I got the run around for some time before I found a Home Based Business that would actually work for me. If you'd like to check out the site it's http://www.automaticbuilder.com/43264/ I really like it and it doesn't take much time.

Good Luck!

Question: Start-ups ideas and tips for an 18-years old overseas student?

Hi guys, thanks for viewing this thread first of all. I need some tips and helps for ideas that can propel me into the business world, even though i am an overseas student ( non-PR ). I was sent to Melbourne, Australia, about a year ago and would love to start working preferably Home Business rather than at McDonald's. I have a reasonably start-up capital in the bank provided by my dad which he allowed me to use for a biz reason, not on cars.

On top of that, we are also planning to buy a property in Australia to live in, which i have the capital already to do so. Just wondering, should i jump into the property market, buying then renting, or shares? In my consideration, website marketing has a good prospect and have lesser hassles, and i tried to start an eBay business as well.

Now, how should i finance and start the vast ambitions that i held for years? i wish to be like sir Richard Branson one day, and his prolific start-up at 16 ( Student Magazine ).

Thanks in advanc

Answer: I suggest you start your own Home Based Business. Having a Home Based Business is great! Cost efficient and you don't have all the over head that a traditional business has. The income opportunity is incredible. Most Home Based Business cost under $500. Some cost more depending on what it is you want to do. I don't know what you like to do, so I can only tell you what my husband and I started over six years ago and point you out to some others to take a look at. Ours well supports our family of six. We have four children ages 10, 6, 3 and 1.
We got involved in the telecommunications industry with a world wide company that's over 15 years old. They have headquarters in Sydney Australia. We've been featured in several magazines. They offer services that people use every day and pay for anyway, but now they can have a lower cost. Services such as local and long distance phones, Internet, digital phones, video phones (you can see the person your taking to live)VOIP, Satellite TV, and all the major cellular phone companies like Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Alltell, Nextell etc. have partnered up with them too.
How many people do you know, or know of around the world that uses one or more of these services? How would you feel if you could save people money on services that they're already using, or offer them services that they don't have but want? Every time they pay their bills each month, you make a percentage off these bills every single month. Huge income opportunity. It's incredible how much money is involved in this industry.
If you'd like more information feel free to email me and I'll be happy to pass it along to you.

I also created a blog on my 360 page on Home Based Business's. There's over half a dozen different ones to take a look at. Your more then welcome to browse through them. If you find one that's interesting, contact the person who wrote it and they can point you out in the right direction.
