Question: I am from India,i cant see any sponsored results on yahoo.I am getting when i use UK or some other yahoo.plz..
In india ,Hyderabad i am not getting any sponsed listings.I tried for the most popular keywords software,ousourcing,Bpo,bpo companies,bpo india,Home Based Business,business plan etc.But i cant see a single sponsored listings.But when i tried to see uk.yahoo and ca.yahoo i can see sponsored listings.Please any one let me know why it is happening for yahoo only.Please help me out I would be very thankful for all.
Answer: Perhaps they don't serve advertisers in India, and thus it wouldn't make monetary sense to show ads to users in that country.
Remember, advertisers will be paying for each click, so if people from a country where where an advertiser does no business click on the links, they may potentially be paying out money for no return.
That's my guess!
The page mentioned below is the sign-up page for the Yahoo! Search Marketing service. India's not on the list of countries mentioned there.
