Home Based Business Better Business Bureau

Question: I received a phone solicitation to join a Home Based Business. I signed up for an entry level by credit card.

The next day I recevied a phone call from the credit card company asking me if I had authorized charges to my credit card. I stated that I had. I was charged over $8,000, a sucker punch to my finances. The credit card company turned it over to their fraud department. Based on the fact that I authorized a charge to this outfit, they ruled that I was responsible. I received a welcome package and returned it by certified mail. The company has 3 businesses, - "Coastal Marketing, Coastal Vacations, and Coastal Millionaires." Their websites are phonies. I have the email from the person who called me. I have a phone number and when I try to cal, it states "please be patient, we are experiencing heavy call volume at this time." I never am able to get through, and have left phone messages requesting a return call.

I have logged a report with the Better Business Bureau. Is there any recource available to me, to go after this company, with the hope of getting my money back?

Answer: Try the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) as well as the Attorney General for the State they are in.
Go get 'em!
