Question: Why do so many people root for our failure?

Democrats and liberals watched in glee as the idiotic and unnecessary Iraq War cost hundreds of billions of dollars and thousands of lives. Both in vain.

If they had to choose between success in Iraq, no more American deaths, and ousting Republicans and the next GOP candidate the choice would be obvious. No Republicans.

Republicans cringe today as the unemployment actually dropped, and as the retail and business consulting sectors added jobs, both proxies of economic recovery.

Similarly, Republicans don't want economic recovery. They'd be delighted if another few million Americans lost their homes and jobs as it would probably mean their return to power. Between prosperity under Obama and depression in charge they'll choose depression.

Is the party system responsible for this division or is really a matter of conservative and liberal ideologues wanting to prove has the bigger #$!$?

Answer: Yes, the party system is the cause. More people are split than realize it. But they pick their big issues and get on board with a party and the fighting continues.

I think if there were a legitimate party, that espoused a decent mix of economic conservativism and social liberalism, without being as kooky as the libertarian party (I'm sorry but you can try to get your foot in the door leading with the drug legalization bit) it could be a very strong party.

AS TO YOUR QUESTION
The thing is I think your entire read on the situation is WRONG.

Neither side wants the other side to fail to fix things. They just think the other side's ideas will make things worse, so they want those policies to fail to be implemented, so that their own ideas can get implemented to fix things.

@DEREK R

If that were true, there wouldn't have been so many Democrats voting yes to authorize the war in congress....think man...

Question: What is the best all-in-one printer for quality, price, toner-friendliness?

Best Buys have some all-in-one printers that they recommend, that Amazon.com customers don't necessarily recommend. I need a printer-fax-scanner-copier, however perhaps may be better to buy seperate for real quality and longevity? Is this like a washer-&-dryer-in-one business that just kind of started and you can't expect real quality??

You know folks, some printers aren't made real. Feeder is tricky, cartridge refill business can be a hassle and even a scam. This isn't for a company, it's for my home-business, and I need a reliable, lasting one that, should something happen to it, there's good customer service to fall back on. Thank you for all your musings and responses!

Answer: brother mfc7220 or 7420 sold tons of them
none back!! $199-$369 TN350 toner $50 cheap for 2,500 yield

Home Based Business On Cnn

Question: Why do people assume that Republicans get all their news from right wing sites and media sources?

Sure I watch FOX, if I can and that is rare? I live with a liberal democrat and every TV is on either CNN or MSNBC. Then that is all that is mentioned in my house. Obama this and Obama that, always from the pro-Obama perspective. That is at home. At work (a hospital) the only news station that the hospital gets is CNN. If you go to a business and they have a TV in waiting area the majority of the times that TV will be CNN or MSNBC. Most of the popular online sites are liberal and democratic based. Yahoo definitely is.

I can't speak for al republicans, but myself.
So you believe in the Left wing news? Is that what you are saying. I take account for all the news I get left and right. If both sides are the issues are not mentioned then I trash it.
"For example, sometimes I visit a certain conservative Christian blog just for laughs and it often has news pieces that I read. I never "get my news" there"

That says a lot from an atheist. What a loaded statement.

Answer: The only CNN I watch is Lou Dobbs and that man is amazing.
