Answer: Thought I add a little technique that I left off on your question regarding recruiting...

There is a belief that if you do not pitch upon your initial meeting with someone, but instead 'draw' them out by asking questions about them (people like to feel that they are heard) and with the right posture/approach some will tell you their life story. At the end of the conversation ask for their contact info and if you can connect to them through what they do (e.g., dog sitter, you'd say something like I know of some people that might be able to use your service (reason for getting their info.)) Be sincere though... The upside to this approach is several fold; you now have asked all the questions to be able to assess as to whether they would/could be successful in your business; plus you've also identified yourself as someone who cares about people and more importantly you've got the 'free' time to spend with a stranger; you’ve exuded ‘success.’ If you do decide to invite them to look at your business, you’ve already gained a level of trust and presented yourself as a ‘good guy.’ And all the better if you can put them in contact with someone that would utilize their product/service.

Obviously to be successful at recruiting for your business you have to be personable and honest (as w/selling your product); and again being sincere is critical. This is what makes this approach acceptable and not manipulative. Every relationship we enter into is for the gain of both parties; it is an unsaid contract that each side wants/needs something from the other.

Question: Has anyone worked for the home-based business called World Travel Holdings?

i have researched this with the bbb. it has an A rating. I know this is a travel agency. Im just curious what is is like working for them.

Answer: I am a proud CruiseOne franchise owner! I am making money and having fun doing it. I have just returned from our national conference cruise, and if things were so bad with CruiseOne, why would so many top cruise line execs. and major media have attended? I have a strong background working for major national corporations, and none of them ever presented such a strong professional conference as CruiseOne did.
Before I purchased I studied 2 host travel companies located in Ft. Lauderdale. I visited both locations and studied both franchisee agreements. The difference in the visits was shiney vs real. A former minor league football player vs a man with many years of cruise and training experience as franchise recruiters. A fancy corner office for the software executive who showed me a website that a customer COULD NOT book a reservation on.vs the most advanced travel website that a customer CAN book travel on and has a much moe experienced staff to keep it up to date and running.
If you are planning to purchase a franchise carefully read the franchise agreements Every franchise agreement by federal law must list the chief officers of the company.Fancy company # one had a very high % of officers listed whose job was to SELL franchises. CruiseOne had one. Company # one was going to charge me 1,990.00 for a 4 day training seminar for my 2 associates, CruiseOne no charge for a much more comprehensive 6 day class. A chief recruiting employee for company # one told my wife he sells franchises for 5 other companies, the CruiseOne recruiter only worked for CruiseOne.
If you are planning to to purchase a franchise do yourself a favor and read the non compete clauses, every company that provides training in a specialized area has them.The funny thing about Company # 1's was that it was not about selling cruises that would get you in trouble, but selling franchises to sell cruises would.. Are we seeing a comman thread yet what company # one is really in the business of?
If you are planning to purchase a franchise do yourself a favor and call the current and former owners from the list that is required to be provided to you., It took me a while but I called several and my own personal research reveled a much higher % of satisfied owners with CruiseOne.In fact the very 1st Company#one owner I called offered to sell me his franchise for 1/2 of What he paid for it one year ago.
