Question: Is ChaCha texting a Legitimate Business?

I know how stupid it is to wildly give away your SSN, but to become an independent contractor of the business, they need you to fill out a W9 form which requires an address, name, date of birth and SSN information for the IRS to check during tax season.

I haven't been able to find any information where guides and former guides claim ChaCha stole their identity from the info they gave.

Any links to lawsuits or complaint forums would be welcome,

Answer: Don't listen to the other person. I'm a guide for ChaCha, and I love it! You can either have them pay you now, in which you sign up for a bank account, wait for your card to arrive, and you'll get the money wired to your atm card almost instantly, or you can have it sent to your checking account on a monthly basis. I have it sent to my bank account, this is a slower method as it takes up to a week to get there. But they've never not given me my money.
If you're willing to work hard, you can make decent money. I bring in on average 700 a month, however i was laid off from my job, so I have a lot of time to do it.
You can expect to make 3-6 dollars an hour. I know some guides that say they make up to 9, but you would have to be super quick in answering the questions.

I recommend, if your interested in becoming a guide to apply for the expeditor position. It's 3 cents/question, but all you have to do is correct grammar, clean up the sentence, categorize it, and send it off to a generalist/specialist who will actually do the grunt work of researching the question. Expeditor pays less, but it is a lot faster and easier than a generalist/specialist!

Also, there is generally a very short wait between the questions that come in, although sometimes it does get a little slow, but lately it's been very good!
