Question: Is there an age requirement to start a business in US?
I have been preparing to start up a Home Based Business, which will be running several online games. I was expecting to have to wait until I turned 18 to form the business, but I didnt see anything regarding age requirements on the license application forms - do I need to be 18, or is forming a business something I can do before I am 18?
Answer: According to the US Uniform Commercial Code, you must be 18 before any contracts you enter into can be held valid.
