Home Business Phones

Question: Where can i find a listing for companies that hire people to work from home answering phones etc.?

Im not looking to start a Home Based Business. Im looking for legitimate employment key word employment.

Answer: Many call center companies are now using home-based agents. As a virtual call center agent, your job is to take incoming calls that will be directed to you and handle requests or close sales.

You will be required to put in a minimum number of hours per week, which can be as low as 15 to 20 hours; though you can opt to work as much as 60 hours a week. Companies differ in how they pay -- some pay based on the number of calls you take while others pay by the hour. The pay range is around $7 to $30 per hour depending on the project, though that can increase if the company offers commissions for sales you have closed. So if you work 20 hours a week at $10/hour, then you can take home $200 per week. Not bad for staying at home.

Here are some companies that work with home-based agents:

- VIPDesk.com http://www.vipdesk.com = will ask you to shoulder the required credit and background checking fees.
- Working Solutions http://www.workingsol.com/ = no fees required but considers their agents as independent contractors, thus requiring applicants to be self employed
- Alpine Access http://www.alpineaccess.com = no fees and you will be considered as an employee, not as an independent contractor
- LiveOps http://www.liveops.com/ = considers agents as independent contractors; no upfront fee but requires applicants to pay for the background check
- WillowCSN http://www.willowcsn.com/ = requires their agents to work as independent contractors and incorporate

If you want to be an employee, the only legitimate company I found is Alphine Access. Check them out.

Home Business License California

Question: How do you start a care Home Business in California?

I need some information about what is needed and resources about how to start a care Home Business. What licenses do you need to start this and where else can I find more information about it. Please help! Thanks!

Answer: What kind of homecare do you want to do? Nursing care or home aid service. The process for both is involved and you have to be willing to do alot of paperwork (to start, to document and filing for payments). Speaking as a former home health nurse, I would go with only personal assistance care (driving, cleaning, sitting, bathing etc.) This type of care is less involved in the medicare world which is boggling to say the least, yet you can still take patients with long term care insurance--those usually pay well. Try to go to the nursing or medical licensing websites of CA and see if they have anything.

Home Business Blogspot

Question: Could you help me choose a cute or clever business name?

Hi! I have just become an Independent Distributor for a home party (Direct Sales) company and need to come up w/ a business name. The company makes decorative vinyl lettering and embellishments that can go on your walls and many other hard surfaces (cars, appliances, etc.)

Several ideas that might immediately come to mind have already been taken, including, "wall art", "wall words", "decorative expressions", "wall bling", and "wall that jazz". I thought of "letterific", "wordtastic", "white walls no more", "word up" or "word girl" but I don't know if I really like them. Plus, I'm trying to make sure that whatever I pick, I can get a gmail address and a blogspot address for.

Any cute or clever ideas? Thanks!
