Question: What should I have on my website to catch customer for computer repair business?
I have a local computer repair business that I run from home office. I have a website, but not many people from my website procced with inquiry or order. What type of information I should put on the website so customers will be interested contacting for service?
Answer: Well it's very difficult to say seeing as we don't know what you have there now...
However, I would concentrate on maybe a few tasks that you have experience in and create pages that address these issues. For instance, if you are an expert in installing Windows 7 or Vista, create pages for that and link to them from your home page.
A page on networks would be good, people tend to struggle with networks - think about some common problems that people have and create pages that talk about the services you offer for that particular task - for SEO purposes, I would give these pages appropriate URL's such as yourwebsite/trouble_with_Vista.html, yourwebsite/solving_network_problems.html
I would also make your contact details prominent on the homepage, and provide a 'contact us' page that contains a form for sending an email with a few contact details (name, email, phone number) and a comment box - make it as easy as possible for people to get in touch with you...
