Question: How do I price for a cleaning business I want to start up?

I want to start a cleaning business that caters to apartment complexes (when tenants move out), cleaning empty homes for real estate agents, and construction homes. How would I price for cleaning these? How much would I charge for 1, 2, or 3 bedroom apartments or homes? How much to charge per square foot for post construction homes? Would I charge a base price and then charge extra for cleaning stoves and fridges and how much extra (this is very time consuming). I would appreciate any advice from anyone who has their own cleaning business...thanks in advance!

Answer: I clean small offices and the problem with your questions is prices vary by where you are located. Cleaning move outs in New York would be one charge, cleaning the same size apartment in Des Moines Iowa would be a lot less.
Do charge by the sq ft and have a price sheet for the 'extras'. Call around to cleaning companies and see what they charge. Call some property managing companies and ask what they pay and what they get for it.

Question: I started my own Home Based Business, and it has really grown and taken off. I sell hair accessories for girls?

I would like to expand my business, by allowing Direct Sales reps to sell, and have home parties. I am not sure how to go about doing this. I have my website, and products, etc, but what do I need to set up to begin a Direct Sales portion of my business? Do I need a catalog of some type, or just in stock products? How do I detemine benefits that representatives will get? Help

Answer: If they do house parties, you shouldn't need a full catalog. Just an order sheet, and have the person doing the party have them fill out the order sheet. Have it be commission based, and they shouldn't get benefits. Base the commission on the profit you make.
